Previously only available as a fairly crappy sounding bootleg, Why Do People Hate Us? has been painstakingly restored, repaired, re-mastered - or whatever you want to call it. So, now you can hear Depression - Spike, Smeer, Liddy & Danny, in all their glory; live at St. Kilda's infamous Seaview Ballroom.

This 23 track CD features many of their early classics like 'Money Chain', 'Ronnie Raygun', 'What A Strange World' and a spirited cover of Flipper's 'Ha Ha Ha'. Hear what a powerful live force Depression were, as this CD captures, arguably, an intensity not found on their studio recordings of the time.

The CD is packaged with specially commissioned comic book art - by Graeme 'Dicko' Dickenson, with a panel for each track.

Depression guitarist and vocalist Smeer returns to his OZ rock roots with his band Speed Demons. If Lemmy had joined Rose Tattoo, they may have sounded like this - a maelstrom of pummeling guitar assualt and a blazing rhythmn section provide a massive wall of sound, topped off with Smeer's strangulated growl!

Recorded live at the Duke of Windsor in 2004, for a mind blowing $400.00, this amazing show sounds better that many 'live' recordings costing millions more!!!

Thrill to the driving 'Doomed To Hell', laugh out loud to the story of 'Mr. potatoe Head's Mid Life Crisis' and marvel at the sheer brute force of 'Need 'F' Speed'. Rub and Tug's release of Play Hard Go Fast also includes the rare 8 track demo's from 1998.
